HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Today is day one of 2009!! Usually on January first I would start out my morning/afternoon depending on how late I sleep in by sacking out on the couch in my jammies to watch the Rose Bowl Parade. Today I did not. I woke up to a few phone calls and flipped it on while I was still in bed on the phone then I moved to the living room after doing a few ADLs and sat down for a sec to field another phone call. I then turned off the parade and turned on Wii Fit to get my first 30 minutes in. Did I mention that I rang in the new year with a last meal ( WENDYS burger, fries and a blended frosty )and another 40 minutes of Wii Fit? That's right it was me and the Wii Fit.
Today I started with some basic step aerobics and then advanced step. Then just like magic **POOF** a new activity unlocked BOXING!!! I have been waiting for that one to open up! I like it. Its heck on the arms but maybe that will help get rid of Buh Bye arm. You know when you wave Buh Bye to someone and your arm continues waving after you have stopped. Very Attractive. Anyway after a couple rounds of boxing again **POOF** advanced 6 minute boxing unlocked. I thought surely after doing the first couple rounds the 6 minute wouldn't be too bad LMAO!!! New moves, different combos, I about fell on my very well padded bum! Followed by some more advanced step and also tried the new bubble game. So far I don't care for the bubble thing. OOOOHHHH also the snowboarding activity unlocked last night that and the slalom are very difficult to me. I will continue to focus on the aerobic and balance activities for now adding in the strength training and yoga as my balance and endurance improves.
Ok so here are my Day 3 stats:
Weight 278.2 lbs
BMI 42.17
and the worthless Wii Age 43
That's a loss of 3.1 pounds since starting and my BMI is down .46
I realize that it has only been 3 days and that 3 pounds is not a whole heck of a lot but to me that mole hill seems like a mountain. GOOOOOO MII 8-)
